Account Data

When you create an account, we collect information necessary to provide and personalize our services:

• Email address and password (hashed — we never store plaintext passwords)
• Username and display name
• Profile photo or avatar (optional)
• Date of birth or age group — used to enforce age-appropriate access controls and restrict access to age-sensitive features
• OAuth tokens for connected third-party services (Google/YouTube, Twitch) — stored encrypted and used only to perform actions you authorize

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you interact with the platform:

• Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
• IP address and approximate geographic location (country/region)
• Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Referral URLs and session metadata
• Error logs and crash reports used to diagnose technical issues

Game Stats & Community Data

• Game scores, match history, tournament participation, and leaderboard rankings
• Messages sent in public chat channels (visible to other members of the server)
• Direct messages — private and visible only to sender and recipient; never used for advertising
• RSVP and attendance records for community events
• Server memberships and roles

Payment Data

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are handled directly by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. We retain billing records (subscription tier, renewal dates, transaction IDs) for accounting and support purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the service — create and manage your account, authenticate logins, enable gaming features, and process subscriptions
• Personalize your experience — display relevant content, remember preferences, and customize your dashboard
• Communicate with you — send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts) and platform notifications via Resend
• Enable community features — power real-time chat, direct messaging, leaderboards, tournaments, and events
• Enforce safety rules — apply age-appropriate restrictions, moderate content, and protect minors
• Improve the platform — analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features
• Legal obligations — respond to applicable legal requirements and valid requests

We do not use your personal information to train AI or machine learning models, and we do not serve behavioral advertising.

Parklan Palooza integrates with the following third-party services to deliver core functionality. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers — the third-party infrastructure services listed in Section 3 above, solely to operate the platform on our behalf
• Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to respond to a valid government request
• Safety — to investigate fraud, abuse, or threats of harm to users or the platform
• Business transfer — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data would transfer to the successor entity, which would be required to honor this policy or notify you before applying materially different terms

Eligible users may see limited profile information (such as username and avatar) when discovery or a shared private server permits it. Date of birth, guardian, and consent fields are not public profile fields. Direct messages and private-server content are not publicly visible.

Protecting children's privacy is a priority. Parklan Palooza applies age-appropriate restrictions across the platform. These controls do not, by themselves, constitute a claim of legal compliance or guaranteed protection.

Children under 13

Parklan Palooza is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Accounts cannot be created with a date of birth under 13, and we do not offer parent- or guardian-managed accounts for younger children.

If we learn that we hold information from a child under 13, we delete it and close the account.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email safety@parklanpalooza.com and we will delete it.

Ages 13–17

• Teenage users may use private-server communication when a shared private-server relationship exists
• Billing, casino-style games, and adult financial features remain unavailable
• We do not serve behavioral advertising to any user under 18

Parents and guardians

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account here or given us personal information, email safety@parklanpalooza.com and we will close the account and delete the information. We will respond within 30 days. Because we do not offer accounts to children under 13, we do not maintain parent-managed accounts or parental consent records.

We will verify your identity before processing any request. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
